Julius Dein- Magic Group
Landing website for the holding company- Magic Group, owned by Julius Dein
Challenge
The previous version of the Magic Group website, as attached in below image, lacked energy—it felt static, dull, and disconnected from the brand’s vibrant personality. For a creator like Julius Dein, whose content thrives on entertainment, magic, and virality, the site didn’t reflect that spark. Its layout was uninspiring, the color palette didn’t connect with his audience, and overall, it failed to capture the essence of what Magic Group stood for.
On top of that, Magic Group had little digital presence. Despite being the holding company of one of the world’s most recognized entertainers, it wasn’t well known or clearly understood. There was no website that told the story of the company, its mission, or what it actually did. But Magic Group isn’t just another company—it’s the engine behind Julius Dein’s global vision of spreading magic at scale. As a parent brand, it houses four fast-growing subsidiaries that all needed to be represented in a cohesive, exciting redesign. Julius wanted a site that wasn’t just beautiful—it had to inform, inspire, and go viral.
Process
Audit & Discovery
I started by auditing the old site and identifying key gaps—lifeless visuals, poor hierarchy, and no brand story. I analyzed what makes Julius’s content engaging: motion, color, humor, and emotional connection.Vision Alignment
Collaborated closely with executives Michael and Jascha to align on brand goals, tone, and core storytelling pillars. We redefined how Magic Group and its 4 sub-brands should show up digitally.Content Strategy & Structure
Restructured the site to highlight Julius’s journey, viral reach, brand vision, and company impact. Prioritized storytelling and scroll engagement across all key pages.Design & Prototyping
Designed bold layouts with motion, vibrant color, and rhythm. Integrated video, stats, and interactive elements to make the experience feel alive and “scroll-stopping.”Cross-Functional Collaboration
Worked with developers to bring designs to life, ensuring animations and layout translated cleanly in code. Coordinated with video editors to prepare hero visuals and background clips.Copy & Tone
Collaborated with execs to refine copy that matched the energy and personality of Julius and the brand—across CTAs, headlines, and section intros.Iterations & Feedback
Delivered and refined multiple design rounds based on leadership feedback, improving narrative clarity, visual energy, and conversion flow with each iteration.Final QA & Launch Support
Partnered with devs to ensure smooth implementation, checked scroll behavior and responsiveness, and polished final visuals for a confident, high-impact launch.
Solution
The new design is dynamic, expressive, and magnetic—exactly like Julius’s brand. From an interactive timeline of his journey to social proof that pops, the site now captures attention instantly. The bold yellow palette, playful typography, and content-rich layout give users an immersive ride. Each scroll delivers energy, reinforcing Magic Group’s positioning as a viral content powerhouse.
Takeaway
Design isn’t just about looking good—it’s about feeling right. This project reminded me how critical it is to design with the brand’s spirit, not just its assets. A strong visual identity isn't static—it moves, speaks, and builds connection. And that’s exactly what this redesign now does for Julius Dein.
